April Yoga 4-week Spring Series


In these 75 minute classes we create a harmony of breath, sound, movement, and ritual. The powerful practices we learn can ease grief, shift energy, and reunite us with our bodies.  April’s Yoga Spring Series invites us to fully step into Spring, cerebrally, emotionally, and somatically. We will explore the themes of rebirth, creativity, and community through the practices of: altar building, invoking the elements, and a centering meditation, followed by movement.

Each session includes yoga poses, connecting to the elements and Spirit, but each week we will do a deep dive into one of the following facets of yoga.

1st week: explore pranayama (breath practice)

2nd week: explore yoga philosophy (the 8-limbed path)

3rd week: explore mantra (sacred sounds)

4th week: explore meditation (guided, focused awareness)

No previous experience necessary, this series is perfect for beginners as well as long-time practitioners.

Classes fill up quickly! Preregistration is preferred but you can also send me a quick text to see if there is availability once the 24 hour cut-off to register is in effect.

Remember to bring a yoga mat and a water bottle.

Classes are a suggested donation of $25, paid by cash, check, venmo, or zelle.
